Laser Hair reduction. Hair growth is cyclical, which means at any given time 85% of the hairs will be in the growing phase called anagen, and the rest will be in resting or telogen and shedding or catagen phases. Of the hairs that are growing, i.e. anagen hairs, 35% of the remaining hairs are eliminated. In this manner, with each treatment decreasing numbers of hairs are permanently lost. There comes a time when no more hairs can be eliminated.
